RV Camping at the Summer Gathering
Visitors planning to attend the Nêhiyawak Summer Gathering 2026 are encouraged to reserve their RV camping spaces early as preparations continue for our first annual gathering of the summer.
RV campers will be welcomed beginning Sunday, July 26, allowing participants time to get settled, reconnect with family and friends, and prepare for the week ahead. Camping guests may remain on-site throughout the gathering and depart Thursday, July 30.
To support a comfortable experience, a dedicated RV camping area has been established separate from tent camping. The host Nations-Kapawe’no First Nation, Sucker Creek First Nation, and Whitefish Lake First Nation-have worked together to ensure visitors can enjoy a safe and welcoming camping environment throughout the event. Full 24-hour security services will be provided on-site by the host Nations for the duration of the gathering.
Registered participants will receive three meals daily, allowing families to focus on enjoying the activities, cultural teachings, entertainment, and community events taking place throughout the week. Admission to the gathering is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item. Donations collected during the event will help support community members and families in need.
Book an RV Campsite
Anyone wishing to secure an RV campsite is encouraged to pre-book as soon as possible.
Spaces are limited and reservations will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
